What are conflict-free diamonds?
Conflict-Free Diamonds are also sometimes referred to as "Blood Free Diamonds" or “Ethical Diamonds”. Conflict-free diamonds are the diamonds that are mined in areas which are not related to any kind of terrorism and that are not illegally traded. In simple ways the diamond mining is not involved in any bloody issues or should not hurt any individuals. Diamonds which are mined in an appropriate way by the individuals who are not tortured or not enslaved by force are known as conflict-free diamonds. When you acquire a conflict-free diamond, it means it is free from environmental and societal harm.

How do we follow the conflict-free diamond policy?
All the diamonds offered on our web site are from the most trusted and the largest suppliers, who like us, proudly adhere to and impose the values established by the Kimberley Process and they are warranted to be ‘Conflict- Free’. Each diamond cutter we work with must obtain their diamonds exclusively from legitimate sources, and fully comply with the Kimberley Process requirements. We won’t encourage our suppliers in any violation of that process; if we ever found such actions, we would immediately sever that affiliation. We won’t stop our support and promotion towards any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.

The Kimberley Process (KP) is a joint governments, industry and civil society initiative to stem the flow of "conflict diamonds – rough diamonds" used by rebel movements to finance wars against legitimate governments. The Process started when southern African diamond-producing states met in Kimberley, South Africa in May 2000, discussing ways to stop the trade of ‘conflict diamonds' and ensure that diamond purchases were not financing violence by rebel movements and their allies seeking to undermine legitimate governments.
